Dorothy Aretta (Garnes) Williams, was born March 21, 1912, in Springfield Township, Ohio. She passed away on September 13, 2006, at Mount Carmel Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Dorothy retired from the Timken's Company after 35 years of service. She was a member of the First Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, where she was the Mother of the Church, president of the Mother's Board, a member of the Hugh Garnes Memorial Club, and had served on the Nurses Guild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Williams Sr.; parents, John and Hattie Garnes; sons, Charles Williams Jr. and Robert Williams Sr.; grandsons, Robert Williams Jr. and Tab Rena Williams; great grandson, Victor Walker Jr.; great granddaughters, Victoria Walker and Heaven Marie Williams; great great grandson, Michael L. Langdon Jr., eight sisters, and four brothers.

Dorothy leaves to mourn her passing four daughters, Mildred Williams, Dorothy Brown, Virginia Williams, and Phyllis (Ronald) Allison; one son, Richard (Ann) Williams, all of Columbus, Ohio; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She will be missed by her caregivers, Virginia and Dewayne Williams.
