Death of Mrs.M.L.Thompson: The funeral of Mrs.Thompson, who expired at the family home in this city on last Friday, May 17,1917, was solemized on Saturday from the late residence of the deceased and interment made in Forrest City Cemetery, Eld.J.R.G.White, officiating. Deceased lady is survived by seven devotred children, viz; Messrs. William and John Moore, by her first marriage, and Misses Lena and Dorinda, and Messrs.James, Louis, and Bryan Thompson. She was one of the city's most consecrated Christian ladies. Her struggles in widowhood when her children were young was nothing short of heroic and the other day when this sainted lady closed her eyes in the last long sleep, it was with a smile of victory in having fought a good fight in feeling that those about her constituted as fine a family of young people that can be found witing the confines of the state.
