Louis David Anderson, 84, husband of the late Nellie Sue Jackson, died Monday, October 26, 2015.

Born March 2, 1931 in Cowpens, SC, Louis was a son of the late William Carl and Annie Rutledge Anderson. He honorably served his country in the US Army and was the owner and operator of Anderson Variety Store. Louis was an avid Braves fan and a retired carpenter.
Louis is survived by his sons, David Anderson (Charlene) and Bo Anderson (Donna); grandchildren, Crystal Conwell, Rachel, Darrin, and Brent Anderson, Joey Woody, and Jason Black; great grandchildren, Garron Hall and Lauren Conwell; a sister, Louise Cogdell (Kenneth); and a special caregiver and friend, Barbara McDonald.

In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by a brother, Paul Anderson.

The family will receive friends Friday, October 30th, 2-3PM at Dunbar Funeral Home.

Funeral services will immediately follow in the chapel at 3PM, officiated by Reverend Jonesy Brewer.

Burial will be held in Heritage Memorial Gardens.
