Amalia Heinitz Long Ill, Dies
Mrs. Amalia Heinitz, resident of the Galt District for the past 15 years, passed away at the family home on Liberty and Dustin roads early yesterday morning following an extended illness.
A native of Russia, Mrs. Heinitz was 57 years of age. The family came to this district 15 years ago from Wisconsin and followed ranching. A livelong member of the Lutheran Church, Mrs. Heinitz was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church of Lodi.
She is survived by her husband, Gottfried Heinitz of Galt and five children,
Mrs. Herbert Plath, Galt; Mrs. Lonnie Cooper, Acampo; Mrs. Wallard Seavert, Galt; George Heinitz, Galt, and Harvey Heinitz, Galt.
Mrs. Heinitz was the sister of George Heffley, Reinhardt Heffley and Mrs. Ernest Messall all of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Julia Klein of Tampa, Kansas. In addition, she was the niece of Mrs. Julia Keinitz of Stockton, and sister-in-law of Jacob Heinitz of Lodi and Alex Heinitz of North Dakota. She was the grandmother of seven grandchildren.
