Gainesville, Texas resident, Bernadette E. Murphy, 59, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at River Valley Health and Rehab Center. A Memorial Service was held Friday, October 30th at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial was at Fairview Cemetery.
Bernadette was born August 21, 1956 in Gainesville, Texas. She had worked in retail sales until health issues forced her retirement.
She is survived by three sons, Franchois Johnson and Timario Murphy of Gainesville, and Monty Johnson of Lewisville, five grandchildren and sister/aunt Cornelia Bennett of Sherman. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lavenia Johnson and grandparents Theodore and Mattie Johnson.
