William James Wright, Jr., 35, died Friday evening at his home, a half mile south of Vibbard. He was born in Kansas City, January 18, 1910; moving to this community when he was six years old.
He was the son of William James and Martha Wright.
He made his home with his father.
His mother preceded him in death in May 1942.
He attended the Excelsior Springs high school, and had lived in Excelsior Springs and Vibbard most of his life.
Other survivors, besides his father, are one sister, Mrs. Walline J. Day of Kansas City; two brothers, Howard Wright of the U.S. Navy, stationed in California; and Ralph Wright of the U.S. Army, stationed in Louisiana.
Funeral services will be this afternoon at Hope Funeral Home Chapel. Elder Leon Clevenger will officiate at the funeral services. Burial will be at the Union cemetery, east of Lawson.
