Funeral for Alex John Poulos, 73, 255 N. West Temple, who died Saturday in a Salt Lake hospital of a cerebral hemorrhage, will be conducted Wednesday, 2 p.m. in Greek Orthodox Holy Trinity Church, 279 S. 2nd West. Prayer Service at 36 E. 7th South Tuesday 7 p.m. Burial Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Born Jan 17, 1883, Paltras, Aujion, Greece, to Mr. and Mrs. John Anagnostopoulos. Came to Utah about 1915. Married Alice Peterson in 1925, Neola, Duchesne County. Later divorced. Employed by Union Pacific Railroad Co. 35 years, retired in 1953.
Survivors: daughters, Mrs Billie P. Priskos and Mrs. Mary A. Clark, Salt Lake City; two grandchildren; brother Nick, Greece
