David St. Clair, 72, of SR 83 N, died Sunday May 24, 2015 at the Cleveland Clinic.
He was born January 15, 1943 in Muskingum Co. to the late Harold and Esther (Adams) St. Clair. He was a 1961 graduate of Jefferson High School in Dresden. He worked as a Roller at AK Steel (formerly Armco) for 32 years, and most recently at Mission Auto for 13 years. He was a member of Prairie Chapel United Methodist Church, where he was a trustee. He loved the church and his church family. He enjoyed riding his bike, and spending time with his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda (Wrather) St. Clair of Coshocton, whom he married April 19, 1964; two daughters, Dawn (Steve) Williams of Newark, and Toni (Ed) Kitchen of Ostrander; four grandchildren, Corey (Steph) March of Chicago, Gabe Kitchen & Abby Kitchen of Ostrander, and Jesse Williams of Newark; a great-granddaughter, Raika Lynn March of Chicago; a niece, Beth Potter of Dublin; a nephew, Mark Potter of Apple Valley; and very special extended family members, Mike & Linda Burr, Jacie & Charlie Wright, Ryan & Beth Burr, Avington, Elyn, & Burkley Wright, and Isla Burr.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister and her husband, JoAnn & Leroy Frances Potter.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday May 30, 2015 at the Prairie Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Dail Parrish officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Chapel Cemetery. Calling hours are from 1-3 & 5-7 p.m. at the church on Friday May 29th. The Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is handling arrangements. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
