Andrew Kline Rogers,30, a resident of Quail Hollow, died on sunday morning as the result of an auto accident on the Williamsport Pike near his home.
Services will be conducted Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Oaks and Nichols Funeral Home with Elder Virginia Lester officiating. Burial will be in the Dunnavant Cemetery near Elkton in Giles County.
A native of Maury County, he was a son of Martha Ruth Abernathy Rogers of Giles County and the late Eugene Elias Rogers. He was an backho operator for wright and Lopez and a member of the National Guard.
Other survivors include a son, Andrew Kline Rogers Jr. of Huntsville, AL, five sisters Mrs. Marvin (Dorothy) Hudden of New Mexico, Mrs. Terry (Bonnie) Lester of Nashville, Mrs. Jimmy (Virginia) Sanders of Culleoka, Mrs. Billy (Barbra) Kelly and Mrs. George (Betty) McClendon, both of Columbia; three brothers, William E. Rogers, John David Rogers and Ronald Clark Rogers, all of Columbia; and one step-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Robert Baker, L.D. Parham, Sam Andrews, Bobby Anders, John Andrews and Maples Pylant.
Honorary pallbearers will be employees or Wright and Lopez.
