She was born May 22, 1932, in Wood County, W.Va., to Wilford and Lena Jones Smith.
She was a graduate of Parkersburg High School. Regina had worked at Zides Sport Shop and Z Coat in Marietta. She enjoyed art and photography.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald Leo Schilling; two daughters, Terri Schreiber (Howard) of Brecksville, Ohio, and Tammy Smith (fiance, Mike Hall) of Williamstown; four grandchildren; a sister, Joette Smith of Eustis, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Liturgy, with Mass, will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015, at the Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption. Friends may call at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley and Peoples Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m., with a Vigil Service at 4 p.m. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Williamstown.
