Bernard F. Rock, 96, died September 29, 1996 in Titusville, FL. Born in Poland, January 28, 1900 to Leonard Jarzembowski (Rock) and Julia Robaczewska. Mr. Rock had resided in Jacksonville 52 years before moving to Titusville in 1977. Mr. Rock retired from NAS Jax in 1975, after 17 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Joan ‘Jennie’ Kasprowicz Rock in 1979 and several siblings. He and his dear ‘Jennie’ were married in Manchester, NH on May 11, 1924.

Survivors include his daughter Carolyn Friend; son Richard K. (Marjorie) Rock of Palm Coast, FL.; four grandchildren, Alan, Tammie, Michael and Vicki; gr-grandchild, Rachael; sisters, Catherine Starling, Lucy Curl, Anna Stogner, Dorothy Ezzell; brother Ralph A. Rock, all of Jax, FL.

A funeral mass will be held 11:30 A.M. Thursday, October 3, 1996 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Jax., FL.

Interment will follow in Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, Jax., FL. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday, with Vigil service at 7:00 P.M. in the chapel of HARDAGE-GIDDENS FUNERAL HOME, 729 S. Edgewood Avenue, Jax., FL.
