Mr. Harold E. Moseley, age 80, of Lyons, died Saturday, October 24, 2015 in the Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia, after an extended illness. He was a native Reidsville, and moved to Savannah in 1954, where he worked with Union Camp and retired after twenty years. He also retired from the Georgia Department of Corrections after more than twenty years as tag plant supervisor, and was the owner/operator of Moseley Heating and Air. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Lyons. He loved fishing and going to the coast. He was preceded in death by a son, Terry Moseley; parents, William and Mary Wells Moseley; and a brother, W.A. Moseley.

Mr. Moseley is survived by his wife of thirty-six years, “Pat” Moseley of Lyons; four children, Joy Mariani of Gainesville, John W. Patrick and wife Jamey of Statesboro, Glynn Moseley and wife Priscilla of Lilburn, and Judy Parkerson and husband Charles of Reidsville; two sisters, Kathryn Reynolds of Reidsville, and Linda Gasperson and husband J.P. of Charleston, South Carolina; one brother, Wayne Moseley and wife Sharon of Reidsville; grandchildren, Terry Lee and Brianna Moseley, Michele and Jeff Hanna, Dennis and Becky Moseley, Amanda and Eric Rentschler, Chris and Loretta Patrick, Drew and Amber Patrick, Evan and Amanda Patrick, Madison Patrick, Zach Patrick, Laura and Tommy Adams, Ryan and Destinee Frye, Tammy Frye, Eric and Erin Frye, Rena and Chad Foskey, Jennifer Utterback, and Jamie, Timmy Monroe, Kristen and Blake Monroe, and Distin Cromer; twenty grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Monday, October 26th at 3:00 p.m. in the Fairview Baptist Church with Pastor Glenn Russell and Reverend Wayne Moseley officiating. Burial will follow Mt. Carmel Church Cemetery in Tattnall County.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 5:00 until 7:00.
