Glen Davis, 81, of Calallen, Texas, passed away Friday, October 23, 2015 at his home after an illness. He was born December 17, 1933 in Mont Belvieu, Texas to Joseph R. and Virgil Granger Davis. Glen graduated from Calallen High School, and was a U. S. Navy veteran. He retired from Central Power and Light Company in 1988 after 42 years of service. Glen was a member of Calallen Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, J. R. Davis, and three sisters, June Bevly, Sue Roberts and Marilyn Isenberg.
Visitation with the family present will be from 4 P.M. until 6 P.M. Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 A.M. Monday, October 26, 2015 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Justin Moss officiating.
