Angenora was the 4th of 10 children. The family farmed in Roxbury Twp. Washington County, Ohio.

On January 17, 1854, at the age of sixteen years, she applied for a marriage license in that county to marry William Farris who was 20 years old. They were married on the 19th of January, 1854, lived in Harmer Village and had 4 children.

The family moved to Linn County, Iowa sometime in the 1860's. She is listed on the census as dying in 1870 and William is listed as a widower with the four children.

William must have died prior to 1880, but no record of his death can be found.
