A related baptism that same year shows Johannes Bock as witness to the baptism of the son of Jacob Simon and Margaretha Schantz. Johannes/Anton and Sarah Keerps Buck had a daughter Mary who married a Schantz. The year before, the same pastor recorded the birth of Johann/Anton and Sarah Charlotte's other son Johann Anton Hermann Bock, sharing a page with the Simon birth, page 359. The exact congregation of these reports is not clear from pastor Hirsch's combined records, but he attributes them to Fearing Township. In censuses Johann Anton Hermann was called Carmen, so he likely went by "Herman" rather than John or Anton.
