Patricia Sonya Peters Talbott, a woman of many talents, an artist/"Bear Lady", gardener, teacher, business owner, wife and a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away 10/19/2015. Pat, a Washington native grew up in Tukwila through high school. While attending college in Ellensburg she met her husband William Earl Talbott. When Patty met Bill there was a bond that lasted almost 55 years. Pat and Bill went on to have 4 children, raised in Woodinville, WA. 5 grandchildren 7 great-grandchildren. In all of her kids and grand kids she would teach the pride of Norway, a work ethic, and always to keep an open mind going into anything...To quote her oldest grandson "Heaven gained a saint that day" in our eyes. A celebration of life will be held at the Sons and Daughters of Norway Lodge in Kelso, the corner of Catlin and SW 3rd Ave, Kelso WA at 2 pm. If there are people unable to make the drive the Amtrak train station is very close by. In lieu of flowers please donate to or plant something in Her memory.
Even in death she continues to give.

Patricia Sonya Peters Talbott passed away peacefully Oct. 19, 2015 at the age of 73. She would have made it to 74 on Oct. 27.
Patricia was raised in Tukwila and went to Foster High School where she earned a scholarship to Central Washington University for flute and also where she met our dad, William Earl Talbott. When they left school they moved to Woodinville where they made their home. Woodinville is where they raised us four kids. Patricia was a resident of Woodinville for 40 years.
Patricia was involved in our PTA, coached soccer, worked at Cottage Creek Nursery and for years worked at the Woodinville Weekly with her friend and boss Carol Edwards. She was also associated with the Sons and Daughters of Norway. Patricia also helped start the Saturday markets in Redmond and Woodinville.
She really enjoyed her crafts, making jewelry and sewing, which led to a career making teddy bears out of vintage furs.
After her husband Bill retired, they moved to Cathlamet, Washington, where they lived for 14 years until she fell ill with kidney failure.
Mom and Dad would have celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary Dec. 3.
She is survived by her husband, William Earl Talbott, and her four children, Angel Siglindie Talbott Fisher, Bill Talbott, Inga Routh and Malena Grail. She also had five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren who will miss her dearly, as well as many other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held Dec. 5 at the Sons of Norway Lodge in Kelso, Washington at 2 p.m.

She was born Oct. 27, 1941, in Seattle, to Edwon and Blanch (Rustad) Peters, and was proud of her Norwegian heritage.
Pat lived in Woodinville, Wash., for 40 years, where she worked as a graphic designer. She moved to Cathlamet 14 years ago.
Pat was known as "The Bear Lady." She designed and created Teddy Bears from old fur coats for 35 years. A feature article about her extraordinary talents ran in The Daily News April 14, 2013.
She married William Talbott Dec. 3, 1960, in Idaho. He survives her at home. Also surviving are four children, Angel Fisher of SeaTac, Wash., Bill Talbott in Washington, Inga Routh of Woodinville, Wash., and Malena Grail of Beaverton, Ore.
A memorial service is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday at the Sons of Norway Hall in Kelso.
