Anna Beeler married Joab Powell in 1817, in Claiborne County, TN and they had 14 children, the first five born in TN and the others in Jackson County, Missouri.The family followed the Oregon Trail in 1852 and settled in Linn County. They moved with John Beeler and Jane (Powell) Beeler. John was the brother of Anna and Jane the sister of Joab. The Beeler's founded the Providence church along with John and Jane Beeler.
