SARAH FOSTER

Sarah Elva Allen Foster, on Oct. 7, 2008 was joyously embraced by her loving husband, Tom, her parents, 10 siblings and many family and friends when her heavenly father called her home.

She was born Oct.21, 1923, in Baggs, Wyo., the eight of 12 children to Sarah Elizabeth Kendall and George Henry Allen. She married Tommy William Foster on July 26, 1948, in Laramie, Wyo. They eventually made their home in Vernal where they raised their four children.

She loved and was actively engaged in life. She valued her family above all else, always being there for them. She was an organizer and knew how to get things done. Sarah enjoyed and was very good at crocheting, knitting, quilting, sewing, cooking, making home a great place to be, bowling, dancing, people and having a good time with them.

She is survived by her children, Eva (Bob) McCoy of Nephi, Linda Reef of Vernal, Tom (Brenda) Foster of Vernal, Melvin (Wanda) Foster of Reno, Nev.; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and her youngest sister Melva (Rod) Winsper of Vancouver, Wash.
