LILLIAN S. PAINE
Ely, Nev. - Mrs. Lillian S. Paine, 60, died Thursday at her home of a heart attack.
Mrs. Paine was born in Batavia, N.Y., August 10, 1880, and came west with her parents as a small child. In 1907 she moved to the Ely district, living here since.
Four sons and daughters survive: Sinton A. and D. F. Paine, Jr., and Mrs. W. J. Francy of Ely, and Mrs. Elmer Beckman of Ogden; three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Plante of Los Angeles, and two brothers, George Stakel of Winnemucca, and Nelson Jarvis of Twin Falls, Idaho. Her husband preceded her in death.
Funeral services were conducted Friday in the Wilson-Bates funeral chapel, the body being taken to Salt Lake City Saturday for burial in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
