Ray was born May 17, 1934 in Hilliards, PA. He was the son of the late Ralph Myers Campbell and the late Edna Mae Follsteadt Campbell.
Ray was the last surviving member of his immediate family having been preceded in death by three sisters and eight brothers.
He was a Veteran of the United States Navy having served on the USS Gurke during the Korean conflict. Ray retired from Cooper Energy in Grove City after thirty nine years and eleven months of service. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports.
Ray is survived by his wife, whom he married August 17, 1956, two daughters, one son, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Burial wil be in the Epiphany Cemetery.
