Ruth graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1950 and attended Valparaiso University. She worked for Whirlpool Corporation for over 40 years as an administrative assistant up to the senior executive level. Ruth was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church St. Joseph and sang in the choir for many years. She loved church and show music plus the St. Joseph Municipal Band summer concerts. Ruth was a meticulous dresser and volunteered many hours working at Lakeland Medical Center. She devotedly provided long-term care for her parents, and being a great aunt for her nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Court & Market St., St. Joseph, with Rev. Michael Roth officiating. Private Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery, St. Joseph. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Saturday at the church.
