Ostergaard Signe K. 1889-1961

Mrs. Signe K. Ostergaard, of Coulter, passed away Saturday at the Mercy hospital, in Mason City, after a several months illness. A prayer service will be held this afternoon, Tuesday, at 2:00 o'clock at the Green & Sietsema Funeral Home, in Hampton, and funeral services will be at St. John's Lutheran church, southeast of Coulter. Rev. W.R. Garred will officiate at the last rites and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Ostergaard was born January 17, 1889, in Denmark, the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Peter Jurgensen. In 1907 she came to America and on December 10, 1908, she was married to Peter Ostergaard, in Hamilton township.
They made their home in Hamilton and Morgan townships from 1910 until 1946. After the death of her husband in 1946 she moved to Coulter and had since made her home there.
Mrs. Ostergaard is survived by one son, Milton Ostergaard, of Coulter.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
Mrs. Ostergaard was a member of St. John's Lutheran church, southeast of Coulter.
