Mrs. Alma Trimble Shimmon died Tuesday, Aug. 25 in a Staunton hospital. She was born in Monterey Nov. 13, 1902, the daughter of the late Dr. Kenton Harper and Mollie Sullenberger Trimble.
Mrs. Shimmon was a member a the Episcopal Church and a graduate of Harrisonburg State Teacher's College. Her husband, Karl V. Summon, died in July 1963. She is survived by two nephews, Kenton H. Trimble, III and Charles C. Trimble of Buena Vista. A graveside service will be conducted at the Monterey Cemetery on Thursday (today) at 2 p.m.
