R. Harold Fuqua, Resident of Area 32 Years, Dies

R. Harold Fuqua, retired grocery store owner, died Tuesday at his home, W 2932 Gardner.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Hazen & Jaeager Funeral Home, with the Rev. Glen A. Rudolph of Westminster Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Spokane Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Fuqua, a 32-year resident of the area, was originally from Kansas. He was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church; past master of the Masonic Lodge in Ashton, Idaho; the Audubon Park Lodge 272 AF and AM; a past patron of Audubon Chapter 214, OES; and past worthy patron, Trinity Court Order of Amaranth.

He is survived by his wife, Viola, at the home; two daughters, Mrs. Jerry Willmerig, Spokane, and Mrs. Walter Gruber, Vista, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Herbert Stewart, Spokane and six grandchildren.
