A native of San Antonio, TX, she was born to Robert Daniel and Florence Evelyn Jones-DeSha. Her life's work was dedicated to her Lord Jesus Christ, her family, and Northwest Hills Baptist Church. She was a devoted woman of God and caregiver. Her giving heart allowed her to give her all when she had nothing. She enjoyed painting, crocheting, playing the piano, and traveling. She will be missed dearly by all the hearts she touched. Preceding her in death are her parents; husband of 59 years [March 8, 1946, Lakeview Baptist Church], Alfred W. Spencer; brother, Robert Early DeSha; and sister, Carol Lee DeSha-Truman. She is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Cadena; son, Timothy E. Spencer; grandchildren: Daniel, Elizabeth, Jacqueline, Tamara, Christopher; great-grandchildren: Dominick, Emily, Macy, Dorian, Fallon; and other relatives and friends.
