Lee Hall, 95, of Big Run Road, Piketon, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 16, 2015. He was born May 12, 1920 in Magoffin County, Kentucky, son of the late James and Elizabeth Conley Hall. On March 2, 1941 Lee was united in marriage to Una Jayne Hall who survives. Also surviving is a daughter and husband; a grandson and wife; two great grandchildren and a step great grandson all of Piketon. In addition to his parents, Lee was preceded in death by five brothers, Jack, Preston, Arcus, Charlie and Dave Hall and six sisters, Bird Conley, Jose Pendleton, Caroline Conley, Ollie Miller, Ruie Cutlip and Ruby Ledford. Lee was a retired farmer, a former Scioto Township trustee and school bus driver for Scioto Township, a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Piketon and served as a ASCS County Committeeman for 28 years.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 19, 2015 at Calvary Baptist Church with Paul F. Hornback officiating. Burial will follow at Bailey Chapel Cemetery, Piketon. Friends may call at the Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly on Sunday from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
