Troy "Geek" Shane Young, 42, of Cedar Mills in Adams County, Ohio, Died on Wednesday, September, 23, 2015 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. He was born April 18, 1973 in West Union to the late William LaRue and Hazel (Thatcher) Young of Lynx. He is survived by his companion, Donna Hanshaw of Cedar Mills; one daughter, Elizabeth Young of Peebles; two sons; Shane (Aislinn) Young of Jacksonville, North Carolina abd Brian Davis of West Union; one stepdaughter, April Hanshaw of Cedar Mills; one stepson, Timothy Hanshaw of Cedar Mills; half sister Pamela Mason of Brush Creek Township; two grandsons; Clayton Young and Colton Lawwill of Peebles; one stepgranddaughter; Alice Cortijo and The Lynx Crew.
He was a former equipment operator and loader for Taylor's Sawmill Company in Lynx. Troy loved the outdoors and hunting yellow root and ginseng. A graveside service will be held for Troy on October 17, 2015 at East Liberty Church in Lynx, at 2 p.m. Everyone welcome to put our buddy to rest.
Sadly missed by everyone that knew him.
