Robert C. Hoover, 88, of Cumberland City, TN., formerly of Lansing, IL. passed away Tuesday, December 29, 1998.

Survived by two daughters, Wanda Stout Fahey of Cumberland City, TN, Sheila Hoover of Hammond, IN; three brothers, Ernest of Washington State, Calvin and Art both of Kansas City, Kansas; five sisters, Wilma Faletti of Kansas City, KS, Hallie Wood of Griffin, IN, Phyllis, Nellie and Dickie all of Phoenix, AZ; three sisters-in-law, Pauline Roberts of Ottumwa, Iowa, Anna Comer and Lois Comer, both of Iowa; nine grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by wife, Opal Comer Hoover, daughter, Juanita Arnold, brother Eldon Hoover, and granddaughter, Lorali Stout.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 5, at 11 am from Fagen Miller Funeral Home, 2828 Highway Avenue, Highland, IN with Rev. Michael Poole officiating.

Burial, Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN. Visitation Monday 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

In lieu of flowers donations to your favorite charity would be appreciated.

Mr. Hoover was retired from Local #692 Cement Finishers and attended a Baptist church.
