According to HISTORY OF SALEM, MASS., by Sidney Perley:
"Jeremiah Meacham had a fulling mill in Salem, Mass.; was listed as a fuller in 1680; was of Enfield* (CT) in 1696; married Mary, daughter of Henry Trask, Jan. 3, 1672/3."
*note: the Enfield reference is an error. A different Jeremiah Meacham (son of Isaac Meacham and Deborah Browning) is the one who lived at Enfield, CT.

According to A GENEALOGICAL DICTIONARY of THE FIRST SETTLERS OF NEW ENGLAND, by James Savage; Originally Published Boston, 1860-1862):
JEREMIAH MEACHAM, Salem, son of the first Jeremiah Meacham, married 3 Jan. 1673, Mary Trask, daughter of Henry, and had Jeremiah, b. 21 Dec. 1673, [who] perhaps removed to Windham, and died there 14 Apr. 1743, aged 99. His will, written 31 Dec. 1729, names wife Deborah, children Daniel, John, James, Joseph, and grand son John.

The above reference shows that Jeremiah's first wife was Mary Trask, and his second wife, named in his will, was Deborah [Browne]. Although his will only mentions 4 sons, Jeremiah had a total of 8 sons and 8 daughters. Apparently he had already provided for the others by deeding lands, etc., before writing his will in 1729. Jeremiah was about eighty-five years of age when he made his will. A copy is on record books at Willimantic, Conn. It carefully separates his first wife's children or their heirs from those by his second wife. He died at age 99 in Windham, Connecticut.
