Ruby Martin, 100, of Lawton passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2015 in Lawton.

Ruby was born on December 19, 1914 in Spiro, Oklahoma to Albert and Clara (Kilgore) Stone. She grew up in Spiro and Stroude, Oklahoma where she attended school. She married Eston Martin on August 3, 1935 in Clinton, Oklahoma and they traveled to many locations throughout Missouri and Oklahoma during her husband's military career. They came to Lawton where Mr. Martin retired at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He passed away in 1966. Ruby worked at Affiliated Van Lines. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Ruby continued friendships she had made in their travels and touched many lives. She was very independent and lived alone until she was 98 years old when she moved to the Ten Oaks Retirement Community.

She is survived by two sons and a daughter in law, Bill Martin, of Texas and Ronnie and Mary Martin, of Arizona; grandchildren, Chris, Lisa, Peter, Greg, Beth, Jennifer, Brian, John David, Kim, Emily, and John; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a host of loving friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; Eston Martin; daughter, Sue Alldredge, Son, Dan Martin; five sisters, Estelle, Irene, Grace, Mildred, and Iva; her brother, Albert; and three grandsons, Blaine, William, and Mark.

Celebration of Life service for will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2015 at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will be at Post Cemetery, Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
