Samuel Spencer Brady Sims was granted his angel wings on Monday, October 12, 2015, at the tender age of 5 years, 1 month and 11 days. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee on September 1, 2010, the son of Shannon Gene Sims and Meredith Leigh Pierce Sims.

Throughout his short yet memorable life, he was known for showing such courage and hope and putting up a strong and mighty fight that it earned him the name "Super Sam". He loved Seymore & Mickey, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and being rocked and held by all. He attended Northside Elementary Pre-K and was loved by his nursing family as well as his fire department family.

Samuel is survived by his loving parents, Shannon and Meredith Sims of Morris Chapel, Tennessee; sisters, Kendra Cox of Fulton, Tennessee, Kimberly Sims of Columbia, Tennessee, and Ellie Sims of Morris Chapel, Tennessee; and a brother, Walker Warren of Fulton, Mississippi.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Kayla "Alex" Warren; grandparents, Willard Sims, Marcia Sims, Herman "Jake" Pierce, and Nadean Pierce.
