John (Jack) R. Anderson, 82, of Rosholt, died Sunday, October 10th, 2010 at Portage County Health Care Center in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. John (Jack) was born in Iola, Wisconsin on October 15, 1927, the son of the late John S. and Ruth L (Halverson) Anderson. John married Delores Erickson/Hanson on October 14, 1950 at the Alban Lutheran Church.
Upon returning from the Army in 1948 as an Army Machine Shop 4th Sergeant in Nome, Alaska; he joined his father, John, in the family business, Anderson Machine Shop, founded in 1938. Jack bought the shop after the death of his father in 1961 and owned the business until 1987 when his son, Craig, bought the business where both Jack and Delores continued to work for several years....
