STEVENS, Sally Slay; a resident of Wetumpka, Alabama was born June 28, 1936 in Randolph County, Alabama and passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the age of 79. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Gassett Funeral Home. Funeral services are Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Mulder Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Matt Mobley, Rev. Mark Jackson, and Rev. Paul Turner officiating. The family will also receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to services at the church. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Greenwood Cemetery in Montgomery. Mrs. Stevens is survived by her husband of 58 years, Don Stevens; children, Slay (Sarabeth) Stevens, Lisa (Bill) Montgomery, and Greg (Fiancé, Linda Dumpier) Stevens; grandchildren, Holland (Heath) Jackson, Hillary Stevens, Ashley Stevens, Trent (Marielle) Suddarth, Tatum Suddarth, and Brock Stevens; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Kate Jackson, Ellie Ann Jackson, and Tate Jackson; along with a host of other family members and friends. Pallbearers will be Bill Franklin, Bill Lewis, Lewis Jackson, Steve Gantt, Jimmy Stubbs, Jr., Eddie Robbins, Jimmy Swink, and Winfred Wise. Honorary pallbearers are members of the Bev Edwards Sunday school class of Mulder Memorial U.M.C. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are requested to the Salvation Army General Fund, c/o The Salvation Army National Headquarters, P.O.
