Beverly Marie Inman Beaver, age 64, of Tuscumbia Alabama, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, April 21, 2011.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 23 at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. A graveside service will follow with her children officiating. Family and friends are welcome to celebrate her life at a wake immediately after the funeral at the home of Beverly and Billy Beaver.
She is preceded in death by her parents Doris Marie Inman and Walter D. Inman Jr.
Beverly is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years, Billy Ray Beaver; daughter, Badiema Beaver Waldrep, son-in-law, Roger Waldrep, grandsons Braden and Bryce Waldrep of Chattanooga, TN; son Brant DeBruit Beaver, daughter-in-law Jana Parris Beaver, and granddaughter, Rebecca Beaver of Sheffield, AL. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Dale Thomason, Jerry Barnes, Larry Barnes, Gene Davis, Mike Thomason, and Truman Montgomery. All of whom were cousins to Beverly.
Beverly was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her career as a New York Times best-selling author gave her many adoring fans the world over. Her vibrant personality, passion for life and love of her family is unsurpassed. Her great beauty both inside and out was unquestionable with a heart always open and full of love. She was the epitome of a true southern lady who was loved and admired by all who knew her.
The family asks that donations be made to the Barton Cemetery Fund in her honor.
