Belmira Batista, 94, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 24th surrounded by her family.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Gil and her daughter Margaret. She is survived by her devoted daughter Guilhermina (Ken) Rudd, her three cherished grandchildren Filomena (Jay) Huff, Alexandra Travassos, Michael Baptista and her boisterous great- grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Bela, you will be forever in our hearts.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 26th from 5:00 -8:00 pm with a rosary recited at 6:30 pm at Collins Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held on Friday, September 27th at St. John Newman CC with interment following at Holy Cross Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Collins Funeral Home.
