Edward Aalseth, 85, of Sergeant Bluff, died Tuesday in a hospital here of a hip injury suffered Friday, November 23.
Mr. Aalseth was born in Norway, July 26, 1860 He came to American at the age of 12 and had resided in and around Sergeant Bluff for about 60 years. His wife Mary,
(s/b Annie) died about 15 years ago.
Surviving are a brother, Martin, Mitchell, S.D., six nieces and six nephews.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today in the Methodist church in Sergeant Bluff. Rev. J.L. Norris will officiate and interment will be in the Sergeant Bluff cemetery.
The Westcott-Doughty-Chandler funeral home has charge of arrangements.
