Carletta F. Ault, 80, of Riverside Court, died at 11:07 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2015, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Carletta was born August 12, 1935, in Bartholomew County, the daughter of Carl D. and Rowena Roach Emmert. She married Glen J. Ault December 18, 1953. Glen preceded her in death January 29, 2009.
Carletta retired from Cummins Engine Company in 1985 and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
The funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 12, 2015, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Cash officiating. Calling will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana through the funeral home.
Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia "Cyndi" Foley of Columbus; brothers, Richard (Donna) Emmert of Columbus and Gordon (Barbara) Emmert of Greenwood; a sister, Marie Williams of Elizabethtown; grandchildren, Melodi (Michael) Davis of Columbus, Christopher Ault of Columbus, Shayne Ault of Columbus, Matthew Ault of Texas, Scott Ault of California, and Cathryn Gearhart of Columbus; nine great-grandchildren; and her companion, Leland Robertson of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, G. Douglas Ault; a brother, Howard E. Emmert; and a sister, Kathryn Williams.
