James Davis, an old bayman, ship owner and builder, and for many years a resident of Blue Point, died on July 3, at Sailor's Snug Harbor, Staten Island, in the eighty-third year of his age. Funeral service was held on Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock from the Blue Point Baptist Church.
