Georgia was born on November 13, 1920 in Fort Worth, TX to Jerry D. and Elizabeth Tatum Beidler.
Upon graduating from high school in Trinidad, TX, she entered the nurses training program at Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, TX. Georgia completed her training just prior to the outbreak of World War II.
In the United States Navy in 19 years, she served at various Naval hospitals in the Unites States before being sent to the South Pacific. By the end of the war, she was assigned to the Naval air station near Corpus Christi, TX. Georgia ended her Naval career at the Naval hospital in Newport, RI where she met and married her husband, John A. Morris.
Georgia also began a new career as a supervising nurse for the State of Rhode Island Department of Health, a position she held until her retirement in 1982.
Following the death of her husband, she moved to Albuquerque to be near her brother, Jacob H. Beidler who preceded her in death in 2014.
Georgia was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and another brother. Georgia is survived by special friend, Tom McMullen of Albuquerque, NM.

A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Daniels Family Funeral Service-Wyoming Chapel, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM. Graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Santa Fé National Cemetery, Santa Fé, NM.
