Bryant Eugene "B.E." Gillespie, 61, of Chesnee died Thursday afternoon, May 15, 1952 at Mary Black Hospital after a brief illness.
He was the husband of Clara Hines Gillespie.
Mr. Gillespie was office manager at Glendale Mills. He was associated with Mills Mill in Greenville for five years before coming to Glendale. prior to that hew as connected with Arcadia Mills for 72 years.
Mr. Gillespie had recently occupied his new home in Chesnee moving here from Glendale.
He was a member of Spartanburg First Baptist Church.
