MARGARET E. OYLER, 60, of Shippensburg R. D. 5, died Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Chambersburg Hospital after an illness of three weeks.
She was born March 20, 1921 in Greene Township, a daughter of the late Orval C. and Helen (Brandt) Etter.
She was a member of the Messiah United Methodist Church, Shippensburg, and was a former member of the Cumberland County Farm Women.
She was a graduate of the 1938 class of Chambersburg High School and was also a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse and had been employed by Chambersburg Hospital since 1964, having worked in the nursery department.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph L. Oyler, two sons, Kevin L. Oyler and Dean O. Oyler, both of Shippensburg R. D. 5; one sister, Mrs. Charles Albright, Harrisburg, two brothers, Lee Ray Etter, Fayetteville, and Lynn D. Etter, of Shippensburg R. D. 4.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the Sellers Funeral Home, Chambersburg, with the Rev. Roger E. Keech officiating. Burial will be in Norland Cemetery, Chambersburg.
There will be no viewing.
