Funeral services for Debra (Debbie) Kay Walters Jackson, age 62, will be held at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home. Mrs. Jackson was born on July 11, 1953. Visitation will be Monday, October 5th from 6-8 pm at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 6th at 11 am with the Reverend John Dale Rector officiating. Mrs. Jackson passed away on October 1st, 2015 at East Alabama Medical Center. She is survived by her husband Nick Jackson, Sr., of LaFayette, AL; her father, Bob Walters; brothers, Bobby Walters, Dan Walters; her sister in law, Kim Walters; nephew, Wright Walters, and niece Hannah Walters all of Auburn, AL. She is preceded in death by her mother Mrs. Dorothy Walters. Debbie attended Lakeview Baptist Church. She graduated from Auburn High School and Southern Union College where she obtained her LPN license and worked in the health care industry.
