Funeral Services for Randall Wayne Parker, 61, of Galveston, Texas, formerly of Conroe, will be held on Friday, June 5, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. in The Chapel at Conroe Funeral Directors with Pastor Green and Pastor Brown officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Randy will be laid to rest with his parents at a private burial in Sardis Cemetery.
Randy was born on March 21, 1954 in Knoxville, Tennessee to Fred H. and Maggie Lee Parker and passed away peacefully on Monday, June 1, 2015 in Galveston, Texas.
Randy was an avid huntsman and fisherman that enjoyed the great outdoors. One of his greatest attributes was that he was a big-hearted, generous and compassionate man who would always lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Randy also loved music and dancing. His loving, caring spirit will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Bob Evans. Randy is survived by his loving family: children and their spouses, Jerad Parker and Jeanne, Brandi Brown and Todd, Randall Wayne Parker and Crystal, Lisa Ann Brinker and Jason, Shelly Pickett and Doug and Christopher Henry Parker and Staci; his seven sisters who affectionately called Randy their “chosen one”; Pamela McCall and husband, Harold, Valerie Dorhmann and husband, Charlie, Kay Evans, Vanessa Johnson, Nora Lynn Derkowski and husband, Ricky, Robin Halpin and husband, Mike and Kimberly Sandoz and Bruce; grandchildren, Danielle, Kyle, Eric, Dylan, Payton, Austin, Lexie, Britney, Emily, Jordan, Makayla, Avery, Hayden, Hyatt, Hanna, Ethan and Brianna; numerous other dear relatives and friends also survive.
