Elizabeth "Carroll" Ervin Campbell
1929 - 2015

Carroll Campbell passed away at her home in Benicia following a long illness. She was 86. Carroll was born in Maysville, North Carolina to Daisy and Aquilla Ervin and was the youngest of 12 children. She married Wallace "Wally" Campbell in August 1950. Soon after starting their family they moved to California. They later found their way to Novato, where their family grew to five children, four boys and one girl. Often alone for months at a time while her husband was away at sea, Carroll managed family and home with strength, passion and commitment.

Carroll is survived by her children: Wally Campbell Jr., Richard Campbell, Deb (David) Ross and Bob Campbell; her grandchildren: Jesse Ross and Katie, Sarah, Philip, Iain and Spencer Campbell; and her great-grandchildren: Hazel, Brenton and Mirabelle Campbell.

She was preceded in death by her husband Wally and her son David.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 16th from 11:00 am-4:00 p.m., at her daughter's home, 139 White Chapel Drive, Benicia. Arrangements are under the direction of Passalacqua Funeral Chapel, Benicia.
