Alvina K. Kramer, 84, Bismarck, passed away Sept. 30, 2015, at Sanford Health, Bismarck. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 5, at Church of Corpus Christi, 1919 N. Second St., Bismarck, with the Rev. Paul Becker officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Bismarck Funeral Home, 3723 Lockport St., with a rosary/prayer service at 4 p.m.
Alvina was born in Bismarck on May 2, 1931, to Mike D. and Julia (Hager) Feist. She grew up and attended school in Strasburg. She was united in marriage to Andrew J. Kramer, Jan. 18, 1949, in Strasburg. Together, they farmed until moving to Bismarck in November 1953 from the Emmons County area.
Alvina was chef helper and cook in several local restaurants. She owned and operated Kramer’s Family Restaurant, Bismarck, with her husband from 1984 to 1992. After retirement, they spent time visiting family and friends in Arizona and California. Alvina loved to spend her time camping, fishing, sewing and painting.
Alvina is survived by her husband, Andy; her daughter, Charlotte (Dave) Andersen, Ceylon, Minn.; her sons, Andy Jr. (Gladys Savageau) and Joe (Donna), both of Bismarck; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; her brother, Mike (Della) Feist, Bismarck; and her sister, Jane Osvold (Kenneth Horning), St. Cloud, Minn.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Angie Brogden and Shirley Schwartzenberger; and one brother, James Feist.
