Diane Marie Gadbury Turner

Diane Marie Gadbury Turner, 54, of Indianapolis, left this world October 1, 2015 with her family and friends by her side. Born December 21, 1960, she has been a lifelong resident of Indianapolis. She attended Saint Philip Neri School, became an alumnus of the Class of 1975 there and then graduated from Ivy Tech/Northwood University with a degree in business management. Diane was a stay at home mother, eventually worked outside the home. She was a respected member of DFAS as a Financial Management Analyst and worked closely with the Headquarters Division. Diane had many passions, but first and foremost, she loved spending time with her husband, sons, grandchildren, extended family and friends. She loved attending their many ballgames, plays, euchre tournaments, birthday parties, and reunions. She made it a point to try and keep in touch with all of her lifelong friends. She also especially loved travelling with her family and friends whenever the occasion called for it. Diane is survived by her husband of 35 years Randall Turner; sons Thomas and Brian (Ashlee) Turner; grandchildren Kyleigh, Ashton, Hannah, and Brooklyn. Diane is also survived by her four sisters; Karen (Ronald) Huffman, Janet (John) Gadbury-Scharbrough, Linda (Robert) Collier and Ellen (Matthew) Fuqua and three brothers; Mark (Kathy) Gadbury, Paul Gadbury and Todd (Maryjane) Gadbury. She lived her life as an amazing wife, mother, sister, and friend to all who knew her. Her memory will never fade from anyone's heart. She will be dearly missed. The wake will be held on October 5th, 2015 between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM here at Oakley-Hammond Funeral Home, 5342 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46219 (317) 357-1159. A private family viewing will take place one hour prior starting at 3:00 PM. The Funeral Mass will take place Tuesday, October 6th, 2015 starting at 10:00 AM at Saint Philip Neri Catholic Church located at 550 N. Rural Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46201.
