Services for Easter "Sally" Jones, 87, of Gainesville are set for 10 a.m. Thursday at Clement-Keel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Jones, Baptist minister, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Clement-Keel Funeral Home of Gainesville.

Mrs. Jones died Aug. 7, 2006, at Pecan Tree Rehab and Health Care Center.

She was born April 20, 1919, in Era to William and Cordelia (Tarr) Roark. On Dec. 27, 1960, she married Leslie D. Jones in Fort Worth. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Gainesville. She taught in Myra ISD and for more than 24 years at Ben Franklin Elementary in the Gainesville ISD.

Survivors include her husband, Leslie Jones of Gainesville; sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Bettie Clark of Gainesville, Jim and Carolyn Jones of Garland, Leslie and Janice Jones of McCalla, Ala., and Dan and Vicki Jones of Douglasville, Ga.; daughter and son-in-law, Janace and John Wade of Sam Marcos; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and sister and brother-in-law, Betty and W.T. Allen of Arlington.

She was preceded in death by four sisters.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Visitation will be at the Clement-Keel Funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Memorial contributions may be made to a church chiarty of choice.
