Maria Michela Venditti was born on 13-Mar-1867 in Vastogirardi, Isernia, Molise, Italy. She is the daughter of Antonio Venditti and Maria Antonia Grazia Cenci. Maria is the oldest of seven children. She married Domenico Di Girolamo in Vastogirard. Maria and their son Louis arrived in the US on 4-May-1899. Besides her son, her traveling companions were her father in law Lorenzo Di Girolamo, her sister in law, Carolina Di Girolamo and her brother Felix Venditti. Their final destination was with her husband Dominico in Pittsburg. The 1900 Census shows the family living in North Irwin, PA, the 1910 Census shows the family living in Lysander, NY. Best guess is they moved back to Latrobe around 1913-1914 and owned and operated a General Farm. Dominic and Maria had seven more children: John, Marie, Lawrence, James, Lucy, Charles and William. Maria died on 4-Mar-1945 in Latrobe, PA and was buried in St. Mary's Cemetery, Latrobe, PA.
