Dr. J Rufus Douglas died in Kansas City, Mo., Sunday morning and was brought to Mound City, his home for many years, for interment.
The funeral service was at the grave in Woodland cemetery. Rev. M. R. Moleaworth, of LaCygne, officiating.
All the sons and their wives and the daughter and her husband were present; They were Dr. and Mrs. Jay R Douglas of Osawatomie; Mr. and Mrs. Rey O Douglas, Mr. and Mrs. Royal B. Douglas, and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph D. Gleason, of Kansas City.
Other relatives present were; Mr. and Mrs. T. N. Marshall, of LaCygne, and Harry Coe and children.
Mrs. Douglas who is sick in Kansas City, was unable to attend the services here. (Mound City Republic.)

The many Osawatomie friends of Dr. Jay R. Douglas, extend their sincere sympathy to him in the loss of his father.
