Alice J. O. Anderson, 75, Chetek, died Tuesday, December 29, 1992, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire.
She was born November 20, 1917, in Dovre Township, Wisconsin, to Julius and Stella (Erickson) Jensen. She married Clarence Anderson on October 9, 1937, in Chetek, and had lived in Dovre Township until moving to Chetek this past spring.
Survivors include her husband Clarence, Chetek; two sons Virgil (Laura) of Stillman Valley, Illinois and Vernon (Susan) of Glenwood City; three daughters Velma Poling of Montrose, West Virginia, Violet Anderson of Manchester, New Hampshire, and Valorie (Thomas) Lindelien of Pine City, Minnesota; one brother Arthur (Loretta) Jensen of New Auburn; one sister Myrtle (Dixon) Johnson of Park Falls; twelve grandchildren, one great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Julius, Jr and a sister Shirley Nelson.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. from the Dovre Lutheran Church, rural Chetek, with Pastor Ron Gerl officiating. Burial will be made in the church cemetery.
Friends may call Wednesday from 4 - 9 p.m. at the Burnham-Ours Funeral Home in Chetek and Thursday for one hour prior to services at the church.
